F. EMMETT FITZPATRICK, III

*F. Emmett Fitzpatrick, III is a shareholder in the law firm of Fitzpatrick & Caravasos, PC. His practice includes criminal defense, commercial law, real estate, Internet technologies, entertainment law, and international trade. He is a member of the Bars of California, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Education

Mr. Fitzpatrick graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 1985 with a Juris Doctor degree.

Professional Interests

Mr. Fitzpatrick is very interested in Internet law and technologies. He is the author of "Internet Essentials for the Pennsylvania Attorney", a pioneering guide to utilizing Internet resources in the practice of law. The book, published by Bisel Publishing Company, is available through Amazon.com. He has been a course planner and lecturer for continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Bisel CLE Institute, and other providers.

Mr. Fitzpatrick's practice also involves international transactions. Since the early 1990's he has focused on projects in Poland. He's represented Polish and American companies in deals involving the Global Positioning System, the Internet, metallurgy, and commodities trades, and has arranged for United States basketball players to play in the European leagues. He is currently involved in the development of the Trinidad and Tobago Basketball Association (tm).

Personal Notes

Mr. Fitzpatrick has a wonderful wife, Tina, four children, and two grandchildren. His interests include computer technologies, photography, running, fishing, reading, and travel.
