Mr. Fitzpatrick has a wide-ranging practice. On the litigation side he's represented relators, plaintiffs, and defendants in complex whistleblower cases, class actions, commercial disputes, estate cases, personal injury claims, and criminal matters. He's negotiated settlements of multiple intractable business and shareholder conflicts, and has obtained immunity and other favorable deals for targets of grand jury investigations.

His transactional practice includes creating and reorganizing corporations, LLCs, and partnerships, negotiating and drafting construction contracts, shareholder buy-outs, business sales and acquisition agreements, commercial leases, letters of credit, and other agreements. He's represented buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate; has negotiated employment contracts for radio and television personalities, and has planned and drafted international joint venture agreements.

Mr. Fitzpatrick is very interested in Internet technologies. He’s the author of "Internet Essentials for the Pennsylvania Attorney", a pioneering guide to utilizing Internet resources in the practice of law. He's been a course planner and lecturer for continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the National Business Institute, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Bisel CLE Institute, and other providers.
